Sneak peek of my Yui Ikari homage in this zine that's available both in .pdf and print! One of my favorite works recently, if I'm being honest. :3c

real life's been a little rough lately so I've been utterly possessed with FE16 and a certain warlock.
It's fun. give it a try if you disowned the series after FE10 (like me lol). The folks behind Blue Valkyrie were the first ones to reach out for me for any comic freelance work, so this is a fun project to remember. Did some concept art and 3 test pages as well.
Did a cover for the Super-Abled comic anthology kickstarter back in March - was apparently a wild success, and it was pretty cool going back to retro roots.
Inspired by classic horror and Evangelion-esque surrealism, CREATION MYTHS is a 8-page story featuring Frankenstein, the Steam Man, & a mysterious woman whose paths cross (and clash) unexpectedly in the cracks of time.
Written by Rowan Grover (@rowan_grover), and drawn by krad (@kradeelav), Support and buy here! Happy 30 years to Brave Little Toaster, one of the most morbid lil' films around.
They don't make movies like you anymore. <3 Don't know what made me remember about this, but a few years back, I was invited to a show called Spare Time Gallery; the whole idea was to show what artists at dayjobs did on the side, and as I had just started IRON CROWN ... it fit.
(I also didn't have essentially any collection of original works - sometimes you just have to wing it like that.) I'm not a very public artist (to put it mildly); so having my first official gallery was both as terrifying as it was exciting (ironically, despite tabling at much larger conventions a few times before. What gives?). Went great, of course - meeting a bunch of my coworkers and us all letting our hair down by nerding over 3D printing models and on was the way to go. I'd gladly do something like this again. I really wanted to draw @kmclaude's Tielfer with sacrilegious di$ney villain vibes (because wow, mood) - enjoy, padre. (link is somewhat NSFW)
FF7 is the best psychological-horror game disguised as a JRPG.
(it's a pretty good monster story too.) > the feeling that a person or a thing is beneath consideration, worthless, or deserving scorn.
( a thing that goes vaguely hand-in-hand with this meta-ish post ) cooldown doodle.
would unironically let butch mama sarah connor do illegal things to me with that shotgun. Joanna’s appearing in Iron Crown at some point (cough soon) so I thought it’d be a nice chance to take a swing at these character sheets again!
As the patron saint of guns, gold, and gin, she’s the unofficial vodka aunt demon consultant and sniper that Isandar calls in for challenging jobs, or when she needs a surgical strike. Brutally competitive and lives for the hunt, Joanna doesn’t care how much she needs to get her hands dirty as long as it’s in the name of her one mission in life - killing said demons. While also abrasive, cynical, and foul-mouthed (to put it mildly) outside the job, she has an amusing quirk of giving nicknames to everyone in the crew - Tango promptly took her given nickname from the day they met, which solidified their friendship mostly based on explosions (and salt). Only Isandar knows anything about her before being a sniper-for-hire, but there’s a decent amount of speculation of her unusual familiarity with the Judges and how they operate. Then again, that just may have to do with their shared efficiency of purifying the margins of the world from the unholy monsters. (Layout of character sheet with bonus astro signs is nabbed from @chirart, who’s a boss at anything character-design related! Seriously, go follow her for the good stuff.) “my dear, a weapon is nothing but entropy in service of ideals.”
